Log Homes should require no more maintenance than any other building and they are usually repainted about every 6 to 8 years depending on the type of paint used.

A maintenance check is recommended about a year after moving in to your home and during this visit we check all areas for settlement and tighten up the settlement bolts.  In addition, windows and doors may be adjusted if any of these have started to stick due to normal settlement.

Upon request, we will visit homes not built by GoodWood Solutions to perform our thorough checks and ensure that the house has been adequately finished to match our very high standard and can arrange to repair any problems.
