We supply the full log kit based on the design of your home.  The kit includes all the wooden materials and our high quality double- or triple-glazed doors and windows.  See the Frequently Asked Questions link for more details on what is included in the kit.

All our kits are shipped from Honka's production plants in Finland where they are constructed of wood from the highly resistant Nordic pine forests. The extreme growth conditions in Finland cause the pine to grow slowly and to have reduced moisture content. In comparison to pine from outside the Arctic region, the Nordic pine also offers better heat insulation.

The lead-time from ordering the kit to its arrival on site will vary depending on, for example, whether the kit is a standard or custom design. Customers can expect a lead time of 6 to 10 weeks for delivery. The logs are shipped by land and sea and arrive at the building site in weatherproof packaging, numbered and arranged in construction order. In this way, time-consuming after-work on the building site is avoided and the construction team can focus completely on the assembly.

We organise the pick-up and delivery of your kit to any location in Ireland.  When the kit arrives it is unloaded using a Teleporter and laid out on the site for easy access during construction.  Because of the highly efficient packing process, we only open the packages as they are needed and this ensures that your kit is protected from the Irish weather throughout the project.
