Planning - What type of logs are used in the GoodWood log homes?
We offer round logs in diameter from 150cm to 260cm and laminated rectangular logs in thicknesses from 88mm (garages and non-residential buildings only) to 204mm.

Our logs are made from trees with very tight annual rings and particularly high density, resulting in logs well suited to bearing heavy loads. We use only mature Nordic Pines, noted for their straightness and we use only the core of the tree.

The logs are kiln-dried and manufactured using only the most advanced technology. Honka, the log kit manufacturer in Finland, has over 10 patents in log technology and is a world leader in research in this area so our logs demonstrate unsurpassed tightness and durability.
